Our Mission Statement

     Inasmuch as the world is in increasing turmoil, we at Matson Ministries urgently feel the need to reach out with the gospel message of Jesus Christ. In Matt. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, Jesus provides the full prophecy of the end of the age - which is virtually upon us. In almost all ways - politically, physically, morally, and environmentally, the world seems to be literally imploding - collapsing on all fronts; volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, hurricanes, tidal waves, monsoons, global warming - wars and rumors of war, etc. Just turn on the news, it's all there and becoming worse on a daily basis.

     We are living in the last days of the last days. Thus, like the voice "in the wilderness" of Isaiah 40:3 we cry out with the urgent warning to answer Jesus's call to come to him and to life everlasting, for without him spiritual death is inevitable.

     It is time to be prepared and be ready for his return, when he will come to gather his "sheep". If you are in his fold, you will know his voice and answer his call.

     Don't be like the five unprepared virgins in Matt. 25, who didn't have enough oil for their lamps, and while seeking that oil the bridegroom came - Jesus Christ - and the five wise virgins who were ready, fully prepared, who had oil for their lamps, went in with him to the marriage ceremony with the door shut behind them. When the tardy, foolish virgins arrived the door was shut and when they asked that it be opened, the bridegroom (Jesus) replied, "I tell you the truth; I don't know you." The virgins that were ready - symbolically the church of Jesus Christ - became his bride and lived eternally with him and the Father in the "many mansions" prepared for them (John 14:2). Those who weren't admitted to the marriage ceremony went unto judgment and damnation. Even as Jesus told the goats on his left hand in Matt. 25:41, "depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels."

     Time is running out and God's patience is coming to an end for this planet and it's lawless inhabitants. Since the Lamb of God allowed himself to be persecuted and crucified and shed his blood unto death -- the very blood of God himself; blood that covered the sins of men for all time: on the condition that they accept Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, as Lord and Savior; since his miraculous resurrection and ascension to heaven,for the subsequent nearly 2000 years, Jesus Christ has continually knocked on the door of man's heart. He said in Rev. 3:20 "I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him and he with me."

     Indeed, if you have not answered his knock, it is now time to answer him and receive forgiveness and eternal life. That is our heartfelt and most sincere prayer. And for those who have made that commitment, this is Erica and Curt Matson saying, "STAY ON THE PATH."
